Half Nuts has chosen UPS to be our shipping system because it has proven to be the most reliable, and unlike the Post Office, we can track your package at any time during transit.  Most packages can be shipped UPS Ground, which is the most inexpensive.  Packages shipped in hot weather should be shipped with less transit time.  Read more about hot weather shipping below.

SHIPPING TO APO OR FPO ADDRESSES
 

Shipping to APO addresses requires that we use the US Postal Service.  For that reason, we are unable to provide tracking information and cannot calculate delivery time for orders shipped to APO or FPO addresses. These special orders must be done by phone, at 414-476-6887.

 
INTERCONTINENTAL SHIPPING
 

Please contact us at 414-476-6887 and we will get a shipping quote for you from UPS.  Half Nuts will not take responsibility for any duties or tariffs assessed at customs inspections.

 
OUT OF STOCK PRODUCTS
 

Every attempt will be made to ship your complete order, but we do get backordered
on certain products on occasion.  If one of your ordered items is not available for immediate shipment, we will call you to discuss your options.

 
DAMAGE LATE OR LOST PACKAGES
 

Half Nuts cannot be held responsible for damaged, late or lost deliveries.  While UPS shipping is extremely reliable, they do on occasion make a mistake.  If you have a problem, call us at 414-476-6887.  We will contact UPS immediately, and have your package tracked.  If they lose or damage your package, we will file a claim on your behalf, and reship your order.  Typically, UPS will send a driver to inspect the damaged package, so please save the product and packaging.  Unfortunately, unless UPS expedited shipping is chosen, we are not able to guarantee date of delivery and will not issue refunds for orders not delivered as promised by UPS Ground service.  If Half Nuts makes a mistake with the address, we will refund your money or reship your order.

 

RETURNS

We hope that you enjoy your shopping experience at Half Nuts!  We strive to provide quality service and products, but we can’t always get it perfect.  If we make the error, we will resend your order as well as cover the shipping costs.  We’re here to learn from our mistakes. 

If you change your mind about what you have ordered, all returns to Half Nuts must be preauthorized.  Please use our email system for return preauthorization, so that you will have written confirmation of your preauthorization.  Tell us who you are, when you ordered, and why the return is necessary. Contact us at requestinfo@halfnuts.net.   Return pre-authorizations cannot be done by phone.

Absolutely no returns for credit will be taken without email preauthorization.

Please note that credit will not be issued on orders returned more than three (3) days after customer receipt as verified by UPS tracking number.

On preauthorized returns, Half Nuts will credit the cost of our products, less shipping charges, provided those products are returned unopened and in the condition that they were received.  Half Nuts will not be held responsible for shipping of returns unless our product was defective or not what you ordered.  Please be sure to know what you are ordering. Before you order, questions regarding our products will be answered if you send us an email at requestinfo@halfnuts.net.  We will be happy to send you a photo of our product if you request it, to ensure that you are ordering what you want.  Half Nuts will not be responsible to credit orders that were ordered in error. 

 

CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel or change your order if you call us and let us know before we process your order.  Half Nuts strives to ship every order within 24 hours, so your order is processed quickly.  Please call us at 414-476-6887 immediately if you wish to cancel an order.

If you cancel your order after it is shipped, you will be fully responsible for the cost of shipping going both ways.  We will refund the amount you paid for the products only if your order is returned.

If the order has been shipped and you refuse delivery, you will be fully responsible for the cost of shipping going both ways, plus a twenty (20) percent restocking fee.

If you need to return products that were ordered by mistake, you will be fully responsible for the cost of shipping going both ways.

 

HOT WEATHER SHIPPING

Ordering candy or chocolate items during the warm summer months will require an expedited UPS shipping service.  To prevent your candy or chocolate from melting in a hot UPS truck, it is recommended that you use Next Day Air.  Next Day Air service can be chosen from our shopping cart.  If the weather is near but not above 80 degrees, you may choose 2nd Day Air.

Please consult the UPS time in transit map above to determine how long Ground service will take.  If you are in a next day delivery area, you may choose Ground service.

We will add ice bricks to your package at no charge.  The ice bricks will add up to four pounds to the overall weight of your package, which will result in a slight increase in your shipping cost.

We will do our best to assure that your package will arrive in top condition with the shorter transit times, but
Half Nuts cannot accept responsibility for melting that may occur to perishable products during transit.

Ordering items that could melt may delay your shipping.  We will ship your chocolate to arrive by Friday, and when that is not possible we will ship the following Monday. That prevents your perishables from sitting in a hot truck or warehouse over a weekend.
